Fairies- Yoshitaka Amano; gorgeous, dream-like illustrations of fairies and snippets of literature from different cultures (celtic, scottish, Irish, British, shakespeare). It was interesting to learn that Japan does not have a word for fairies, that the concept basically unknown to them until the 1980s- understood through illustration, which I find is a testament to the power of art.

I loved this book and how George Washington became a friend and then father person for the Marquis. How the Marquis changed his mind of the people from France.

Read over the course of a few days, I know this book will stick with me for much longer. Circe, imperfect as she is, epitome of feminine rage, for me- the perfect protagonist. I felt her sorrows, rage, regret with each page.

The Everlasting is the best "fairy tale" I have ever read. Harrow portrayed the time travel in a beautiful way, without too much explanation or confusion. The love story was so unlikely, but deep and emotional. I will love these characters for a long time to come.

The book is really good so far. It's talking about how seven kids are trying this meditation app to see if it will help themselves worry less.

Braiding Sweetgrass is a gem of a text that should be read in every classroom in the United States of America. The combination of Science, Sprituality, and Prose brought by Robin Wall Kimmerer; an indigenous scientist whos work and very being seems to act as a much needed bridge to help the colonized and colonizers return to a more balanced way of being.

Thoughts, feelings, praises, hopes, dreams, and despair told with few words but great emotions. The audiobook narrated by the author herself, brings her work to life in a way that cannot be captured by simply reading the work itself, as it is imbued with her heart and experiences as a Native woman
