Write a story:
If you’ve watched any of the EON videos you know that many animal species seem to be headed for extinction. The fossil record we have accumulated for the past 150 years tells us that similar extinction events have happened throughout the history of life on this planet. This current rise in extinction seems to be mainly due to humans and our activities on the planet.
Do something nice and show kindness to others! These activities are great ways to show your generosity.
Small gestures make the most difference on a daily basis. It's easy to get so preoccupied with our own lives that we forget about others, but with just one simple act of kindness, we can change the way someone else's day goes, and we can better ourselves and the world in the process. This challenge is designed for you to take the time to do something for someone else — and hopefully they will pay it forward to the next person!
Take a virtual field trip with animal, parks, space, geography and history!Don't forget to mark each activity as complete once you've explored.
*This mission will not count toward the completion of the Summer Reading Program. It is just for fun!
